Harswell Report 19 Dec 2013 22:03

After more than 4months of having problems , I have decided to end my subscription.
The site seems to work now, but for how much longer?

George

George Report 20 Dec 2013 09:24

Did you have to get an outside company to fix the problem, because it would seem that over the last year and all the problems there has been your so called tech guy couldn't keep the site running smoothl.

Quite a good team at Genes, though probably badly stretched. But this tech (so called) support has been so awful for so long.

Hopefully the new CEO will address this weak area as a matter of urgency.

There are still problems with the adds arriving slow, Perhaps you should Change your Server Like others do when having problems. :-(

Perhaps if you could just Sincronize the adverts with GR. it would help.It seems your Server who does your Adverts is not serving you well, which in turn makes it that you are not serving your PAYING customers well.Perhaps you should tell them "Shape up or Ship Out" Time for you to Take out an Action Plan as the saying goes. :-(

coincidentally,
I was having trouble and was advised? to unistall Ie 11.......
however I made a hash of it and seem to have deleted IE explorer altogether

so I have resorted to google chrome, but am being besieged by adverts and offers and surveys which seem to pop out of the genes pages at random........

any suggestions, please

BTW, my battery(laptop) is on the blink and have a new one on order.....

I think I have bing or hp server.

I can get on GR easily but I get every ones advertisements,to my annoyance.

I no sooner close them and they come straight back.

Sometimes there is a black box area before the advertisement appears

What do you recommend?

What a pathetic site this is. I wished I never renewed my subscription.

It is certainly on a go slow again, with the usual trimmings.

Losing the will to log on. :-\

It is taking ages to flip from board to board...........and then when you do finally get to post, it duplicates your post at least twice.

Just take at a look at all the duplicate posts on the FA board over the last two days.

:-( :-(

Not only is the site slow but I'm getting words in red red and underlined like hyperlinks! What's all that about?

Sheelagh

Sheelagh Report 6 Jan 2014 00:22

Same thing here. Really slow overall and it seems you have to wait for that flaming drop down ad at the top right of the screen every time before you can do anything else. It's a waste of time on here, and it's a waste of my money. Why are we paying for a product we can hardly use?

GR = FAIL.

Appallingly slow which can put one off visiting the site.
