First time round, I got up at about 0315, then went back to bed at 0500 for another 3 and a half hours! A combination of crazy changing shift patterns and pains in my feet make me wake up and nod off at all sotrs of odd times, even when I am not at work!

The emails whizzing back and forth between here and Australia in the last few days are as a result of one of N's grandad's sister's children finding her email address on a website she left her details on somewhere in the dim and distant past and getting in touch earlier this week! It's all very exciting, as there aren't many relations still alive on those branches of tree for her to talk to.

Morning Mersey <3 how's you this morning :-) I hope Baby Cara is doing fine <3 and how is your Nan today <3

Morning Jem <3 how's it going for you today :-) and I hope you enjoy whatever you are going to do today :-)

Morning Londonbelle <3 how's you this morning ;-) Hiya Ralphie <3

Morning Fly <3 how are you today:-) and how is your Dad doing :-)

Morning Nicky 'n' Steve <3 how's it going :-) and I hope you enjoy whatever you are doing today :-)

Morning LaGooner <3 how are you today :-) and I hope you have a lovely day :-) enjoy ;-)

Down here in my corner of Kent the day started off a bit chilly with some foggy patched about, however, the fog quickly and we now have a lovely sunny morning, that said, the forecast is that it will cloud over during the late afternoon, but despite this, it should still feel quite warm in any sunshine :-) as temperatures are expected to reach around 20C :-)

So wherever you are and whatever you are doing today, take care, smile, enjoy, and make the most of your day :-) :-) :-)

And remember that, one of the strangest quirks of human nature, is the tendency to put off living the life we have ;-) for some reason we have a habit of dreaming of some magical rose garden over the horizon ;-) when what we should be doing is enjoying the roses flowering in our garden today ;-)

:-) :-) :-) Have A Lovely Day Everyone :-) :-) :-)

It must have been taken about EDITED 1890-1891 Belle, because the family were in Hertfordshire where their 5th son was born in 1893.

My Great Grandmother must have been either expecting or just had their 4th son when it was taken.

My Uncle Fred had labelled it wrongly. He had 1896 on it, which is impossibly because of the children's dates of birth. Also he had my Great Uncle Fred and my Grandad the wrong way around.

He didn't have the knowledge that I have gained through GR and the internet to go on.

I've found that too, Jem :-0. I'm doing a Tree for someone and her grandmother started a Family Bible but the info she put for her husband's ancestors is inaccurate to say the least :-0 :-0

Jem <3 good news and some not so good news ;-) the not so good news is that my consultant at my local hospital, said she thinks I may have a condition called Temporal Arteritis :-S that could be causing the deterioration in the vision of my left eye, and she's arranged for a biopsy on the 6th May to take a sample from my left temporal artery :-( the good news is that they have agreed that my eye care will be dealt with by the eye clinic at my local hospital :-) so no more long journeys up to London ;-)

Yes. Even on Gravestones Belle. Way out sometimes.

eg. My 3x Great Grandparents in Pembrokeshire have all different ages on the Census' and different ages again on the Gravestones and Death Records in Haverfordwest.

I haven't always got Parish Baptisms to go by, when they pre-date the Birth Records, because most of my Pembrokeshire people were Welsh Chapel.

I have seen quite a number of age mistakes on Headstones there for people who's birth dates I do know.
