It's a shame that I haven't got one from inside the Shah's palace where my Grandad was born Emms. That would have been quite something!

I wonder whether I will hear back from my "new" second cousin in New Zealand. Perhaps she will have more information, as her Grandfather was the eldest boy and may have remembered more. :-)

What a good idea Emms :-) :-)

Knowing about the Persia connection was what gave me the solid starting point for my tree, when GR sent me the tip for the boys' Birth Records in Persia.

With such an unusual starting point you know that you have the right family, which makes all the difference
