I have just watched it and I think the show was an improvemrnt on previous years. Having the celebrities meet their partners away from the studio, doing away with the long pauses with them all lined up, was much better.

Yes it was more rntertaing this way I thought.

So now we are set up for the series.

Dave Arch was introduced, but not the singers individually, the band was hardly mentioned last year.

Lovely that they did a dedication to Amy who is very unwell in hospital. <3

Not too sure about the Judges dance, but good to see Anton dancing with someone who can dance with him, rather than be pulled around the floor.

The group dance at the end, although only the first week, will give them something to work on.

I was out and only got home in time to see the group dance. I don’t think Les Dennis will be in long and I thought that jump suit was very unflattering on Angela Ripon.

Linda, I predict an early departure for les bless him.

Plenty of good dancers and better than last year me thinks.

We shall see how it goes.

At the beginning the votes often seem to go by popularity, rather than dancing ability. So you get a well-known character in a soap staying on even if their dancing is awful and quite a good dancer getting booted off.

One obvious example is Anne Widdecombe! :-)

Yes he is Island, they may even be twins, they are very much alike to look at.

Adam has a twin called Scott who was on Love Island.

His brother is Ryan who was in Corrie.

Ah so three boys in TV then.

Looking forward to this evening show, I have no preference as to who wins atm but will no doubt change , there are a couple who I already find irritating but that is the case whatever they are in.
