To have Faith is to be sure of the things we hope for, to be certain of the things we cannot see. It was by their Faith that people of ancient times won God`s approval. Hebrews chpt.11 v 1-2.

I am that I am. It reminds me to alway try to be myself, and allows me to not care how others see me.

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ. Shall tribulation, or distress or persecution or famine or nakedness or peril or sword. As it is written, For they sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers nor things present nor things to come Nor height nor depth nor any other creature shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8: 35-39 (AV) Dorothy

Hear my cry, O God; Attend to my prayer. From the end of the earth I will cry to You, When my heart is overwhelmed; Lead me to the rock that is higher than I. For You have been a shelter for me, A strong tower from the enemy. I will abide in Your tabernacle forever; I will trust in the shelter of your wings. Psalm 61 verses 1-4. (New King James version)

God be merciful to us and bless us, look on us with kindness, so that the whole world may know your will; so that all nations may know your salvation. Psalm 67 . Good News version.

The eleven disciples went to the hill in Galilee where Jesus had told them to go. When they saw Him, they worshipped Him,even though some of them doubted. Jesus drew near and said to them, I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. Go then,to all peoples everywhere and make them my disciples; baptise them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and teach them to obey everything I have commanded you. And I will be with you always,to the end of the age. Matthew 28 v 16- 20

Jesus is taken up to Heaven. (Ascension Day) After the Lord Jesus had talked with them,He was taken up to heaven and sat at the right side of God. The disciples went and preached everywhere, and the Lord worked with them and proved that their preaching was true by the miracles that were performed. Mark 16 v 19- 20. I am away now until next Thursday. Many blessings. Gwyn

Forgive me for posting this, out of context I know, but something told me to tap it out. Not from the bible (King George,s message / Minnie Haskins.), but it could well have been and has as strong a relevance today,as when it was written. I said to the man who stood at the gate of the year, 'Give me a light that I may tread safely into the unknown'. And he replied, 'Go out in the darkness and put your hand into the hand of God. That shall be to you better than light and safer than a known way.' Best wishes Happy days

Make a joyful shout to God, all the earth! Sing out the honour of his name; Make His praise glorious. Say to God 'How awesome are Your works!' Through the greatness of Your power Your enemies shall submit themselves to You. All the earth shall worship You and sing praises to You; They shall sing praises to Your name.' Psalm 66 verses 1-4 New King James Bible.

What is man that You are mindful of him, Or the son of man that You take care of him? You have made him a little lower than the angels; You have crowned him with glory and honour, And set him over the works of Your hands. You have put all things in subjection under his feet. Hebrews 2 v6 (Psalm 8 v4-6) New King James Bible.
