Gaynor has been to the Major Oak today. Unfortunately it was raining, but she had her lovely pink raincoat to wear. Cute!!! She was due to go to Jacqui this afternoon, but is spending an extra night with me due to my incompetence ( I was waiting at the wrong bridge!!). Hope she doesn't mind! A Very Stupid Jenny :)))

I thought we might have had a kidnapp (or cubnap) situation this pm - lol Had visions of having to raise loads of money for ransome - as it turned out it was merely a misunderstanding. Gaynor is welcome to stay another night at Jenny's - the food is 100% better and she wont have to share a bed with a dog!! See you and Gaynor tomorrow Jenny!! JACQUI

Please Please, dont forget to feed Gaynor Bear. She just loves Clear Honey and Porridge. I will let you all into a little secret. She is also partial to Golden Syrup. But mind, she will try to dip her fingers in the tin. Can you all remember to sign her autograph book. Also you will find a list of all her belongings, in her Rucksack. If you could just do a little check for me and add anything you may be adding to her luggage, on this list. I am hoping I can get my Daughter Kirsty to get a Pink Suitcase for her, when she meets her in Stourbridge. Thank you all for your help. Jenny xx

Chrissie. Do you know, that you have had me in tears. I know it sounds silly, but it is true. Thank you so much for the card you have made me, from Gaynor Bear. It is Brilliant. Can you please thank your Husband for the Cheque, and also the photographs he has sent me, they are lovely. Your Mini Gaynor Bear will be posted this afternoon. Thank you so much for all your efforts. Love Jenny xx PS. Do you mind if I scan the card and put it on the Relay Site?

Jenny brought GB to me at work this morning - glad to say the bear is no slouch - she worked really hard and even the boss says she can stay on permanently!! She's been for a ride in a stretched limousine with chauffeur, been pampered spoilt and cuddled by loads of people and I did hear one of the blokes 'pop the question' - GB declined of course as he was far too old for her!! Mind you, she did ask if he had a grandson - lol At the moment she is enjoying some warm late spring sunshine keeping my dog company - they speak the same language. I dont know about her eating habits (honey etc), but she managed a bacon buttie this am for elevenses and asked for steak and chips for tea. she'll soon need some bigger knickers if she goes on like this. She's off to Chrissie tomorrow but first she has to put another morning at work, so she'll have been a commuter-bear for a couple of days. Jacqui

Sorry all, I have got the Electrician here all today. So electric is off and on all day. I am so glad that you are all pleased with your Mini Gaynor Bears. As I said on an earlier post, I have miss counted or they are actally breading. I still have 10 bears left if anyone else is interested. Have received two more cheques this morning. From Tammie and Glenys. Sorry, I shall not be able to get out this afternoon to post them. But will do so first thing in the morning I promise. I will soon be able to announce how much the Mini Bears have made for The Pink Fund. You will all be very surprised. I am just waiting for a few more cheques to come in. Thanks. Jenny x

As you all know, the Gaynor Bear Relay is going to take a lot longer than we first anticipated. At the very begining I said that I was worried that members of the relay, may get fed up of waiting or decide not to renew their GR membership, before GB got to them. I got some replies saying that even if the relay took a year, it would not matter. I agree it does not matter, how long the relay takes. I just did not realise so many of you would want to do something 'Special with GB' What I am now worried about is the schools six weeks holiday coming up soon. Many will be taking their main holiday during this period. I am trying to work out where GB is likely to be during the school holidays. We are anticipating GB coming out of Group 4 at the end of June. As far as I know, Group 5 has four members, but a large area to cover. If you could give me a rough idea, as to how long GB will be with your group if would be great. I now need an updated list of all members in Groups 6 and 7 please, and holiday dates. Also an idea as to what you have planned for GB and how long you think you will need her in your groups. This will help determine where GB will be during July and August. Group 8 is the London group. It has about 25 members in the group. GB is going to be with them for quite a while. Camberwell Beauty has everything under control almost, and obviously being in the capital, loads of things to do. We are hoping to get GB on one of the Breakfast time TV programmes. To all the latter Groups. Please bear with me. I have not forgotton any of you. Your turns will come. BBL. Jenny xx

Jenny, With regard to how long the relay takes, it doesn't really matter as long as she goes the distance. being in group 13 it is impossible to say when we will get her I know. It could be a problem for me personally as I have two holidays, one 8 - 22 September and the other end october, first two weeks November. So we will have to wait and see, fortunately there are three of us in the North Glos area and then Sally so we should be OK. Ann glos

Brilliant pics yet again. Well done. Remember, we shall be voting later on in the year, for the best twelve that will go on the Gaynor Bear Calender. Preferaby ones of GB on her own. If we could just show her name a little bit more, and remove her handbag from across her chest, when the photographs are taken, it would be great. Jenny. x
