Hi Jackie
I have spent quite a time on looking for info on your Patrick ONeill, and as I was about to post the results I noticed you had a thread of your own asking for exactly what you had requested on my thread.
I am not happy about the fact that you have not had the courtesy to await a reply from me before posting your own thread.
Perhaps you are not aware that it is customary on this site to allow at least 24 hrs before assuming that you are not going to get a reply.
None of the people who do look ups are employed by Genes ,we are all volunteers who do our best to help, many have full time and part time jobs and some are lucky enough to be able to spend time helping others.
Since you now have other members doing the lookup I will not bother to post what I had found.

Hi Phil
I have searched the Full bmd index on Ancestry and Findmypast for 1850 to 1852 and the only possible I could find for the birth of Celia Rose Turnbull is plain Celia Turnbull Sept Qtr 1851 Shoreditch 2 448.
Do you have her parents on any census???
Looks as if you may have to send for the birth cert.

Mary

Hi Mary,

Please could you look for James Hayes in 1841 census. I have him on all the other census' but haven't found him in 1841.

James was born c1828 in Exford as was his father. In 1851 census I have him living in Southill Farm Withypool with his parents John Hayes 56, mother Mary 65 and their grandchildren Matthew Shapland 15 and Mary Burgess 10.

In 1861 he was still at same address with his wife Sarah and sons John 4 and William 10 weeks. Parents not there so I assume they had died.

Thank you
Regards

Mary Report 14 Feb 2008 16:06

Hi Mary

Thank you so much. I have been looking for Hays with an 'e' as it is on all the other census'. I am now going to study this information and add the pieces to my puzzle.

By the way, Matthew was the son of Jane, daughter of Mary Hayes nee Shapland. John Shapland is Mary's son. ( I think)

Thanks once again

Hi Chris
Consider this your own personal thread!!!
Dog stitched, sporting a bright yellow bandage and a large collar to stop him eating the bandage, not a happy chappy,no off lead walks for several days, and the bandage must not get wet,so fingers crossed for the weather to continue to be dry.
Bill will be over £100 when he finally gets the stitches out.Thank goodness he is insured.
