Hi Jennifer
Since accuracy is everything ,you should not speculate with possible parents.
My advice is to send for his marriage certificate which will give fathers name and occupation, also the address where he was living at the time of his marriage.
This is the ref no you need to send for the certificate from GRO
Edward Gundle/Sarah Ann Mason June Qtr 1876
Holburn 1b 1068.

Mary

You have helped me before so i hope you don't mind helping again.
This time i am looking for James Drummond c1785 - c1859 possibly Old Kilpatrick, Dunbartonshire and his wife Elizabeth Govan c1785 also Old Kilpatrick. I know of 4 of their children: Katherine 1801, Thomas c1806, Elizabeth 1812 and Thomas 1818. I believe they were all born in Dunbarton. If you could find out any info from census for any of these i would be very grateful.
