	Thakyou all for your kind words. I know I used to moan about him, but I'm really going to miss him. It seems to have happened so suddenly. For some reason, I've long thought he would live to be 89 - he's 86. I've got tons of support, especially from my lovely hubby.

	Just spotted this, I am so sorry your poor Dad has become so poorly and can only wish him peace and no pain. Such a dreadful shock for you after thinking he was on the mend from his fall. I will be thinking about you, glad you have lots of loving support. Lizxx

	Just seen this. I am so sorry to read about your Dad Lynda, so sad when we lose our much loved parents. I hope that he will be suffering no pain, and, as you say, he is well looked after and safe, it is you who are suffering so I am sending you a ((((((hug)))))) and wishing him a peaceful passing.

	Lynda, I have just seen your update and I am so sorry to hear about your father. I will pray for your family as they support your father and surround him with their love at what must be a very difficult time for you all.
	Researching: I am researching the Wotherspoon family from the Old/New Monkland areas of Scotland, some moved to the Leslie and Kelty areas of Fife and I'm having problems linking the Wotherspoon's from Leslie and the Wotherspoon's from Kelty. I am also researching the Clusker family from Co. Meath in Ireland who moved to West Lothian and from there to Fife............"Vita non est vivere sed valere vita est"

	Thankyou, all you lovely people. We've been to see him today, but no change. He seems peaceful and pain free. A Macmillan nurse chatted to us today, she is overseeing his comfort. The Liverpool Care Pathway has had a lot of bad press lately, but I can't fault what is being done for Dad. It's awful being in such limbo, it gets to the stage where you wish it was all over. I'm sleeping reasonably well, thanks, and trying to do normal things - life has to go on.
