My deepest sympathy Lynda, on the sad loss of your Dad. Tho expected it is no less painful and hard to bear, but the fact that your Dad is at peace now with your Mum must give a lttle comfort.

I am sure she came to fetch him when he could fight no more, and they will both be your guardian angels now.

Will be thinking about you,

Lizx

Thankyou to all of you, it's really comforting to read all these lovely messages. We've had a really busy couple of days, and now all the arrangements are just about in place. I just hope I can do Dad proud on Wednesday 6th February. Just a quiet service, as not many of our relatives can come so far - mainly from the North East, and many pretty elderly. Will make sure his favourite music is played, and a poem or two recited.
Love to all of you, Lynda xx
