Gentle hugs to both baby Katie and baby Esme, they are real little fighters, bless them both and all of their families after so many weeks of upset and worry.
I really hope that things will slowly improve for these special little girls.

Well I heard some excellent news this morning by message direct from hospital.
Katie had been taken off ventilator and on oxygen...her mum was over the moon and sent me a new picture with just a canula attached to her cheek.

Tonight ,she messaged me to say that she had to go back on it.
I said that in the night ,the body is at its lowest ebb and its possible that they will do it gradually and possible she will be back on the oxygen tomorrow.

I think it is an improvement and the picture of her she looks a good colour and quite bonny.
Hope Esme is getting stronger also .

Really need some positive thoughts.........
Yesterday had good news that Katie had been improving and had a new photo.
Lunch time today,daughter and s.i.l just leaving after being here for a couple of nights,the phone rang and the news wasn't good.
She is having an operation on Thurs on her lung as there is something very wrong.they have prepared the parents for the worst.
We do hope she can fight this..she's put on weight,but can't cope breathing on her own.
All the thoughts and prayers possible will be appreciated.
My s.i.l mentioned that he always hoped his children wouldn't have to go through what they did.....Katies dad lost his identical twin at 4 months and S.i.l was in a terrible state then,and this news brought it all back.

I am so very sorry that Katie needs this operation. I hope that now they know what the problem is, that she will be able to make progress although she is obviously a very ill little girl.

I am so sorry to hear the news about Katy, my thoughts stay with her and the family and I hope that she has the strength to fight this latest set back. <3

Brenda, I do hope little Katie gets through the op and it helps improve her breathing. All the family must be so worried and sad that such a little child has to go through so much. I am sending lots of positive thoughts for Katie.

I hope little Esme is doing better each day and that both little girls will be lots better soon. Positive thoughts for Esme too
