Such alot for a little one to cope with, but I'm hoping that every day brings better news of Katie's health improving.

Ongoing thoughts and prayers for little Katie and all her family. She is certainly having a hard beginning bless her, let's hope today sees an improvement for a special baby.

Thinking also of baby Esme and praying that she is making good progress.

Latest message.had a hard day.they were worried when she didnt wake up after they took her off relaxing drug.

Think she is still fighting as she has now had 2 nights since op .

She not yet woke up .the tube is out she's settled at min on ventilation having her ups and downs .very hard to ventilate with stiff lungs. Not much else to say.
need results from piece of lung they took and blood tests .
she having an oz of milk every 2 hrs now x

Oh Brenda, what a lot that little girl is going through. I hope she will start to make better progress soon so she doesn't have to have all this intrusive action taken.

Oh Brenda I got goosebumps reading that. So pleased. Katie seems to be doing well. She has been through so much. Hopefully now she will get stronger with each day. As you say she is a little fighter.xx <3 <3

Things much the same...Katie is stable and has had her eyes open a bit.
Still waiting for results of biopsies to find out the cause.
Had the genetics team today asking questions,particularly about the death of my grandsons identical twin who died at 4 months 25 years ago.(cot death)
I think they are being thorough and trying to eliminate all causes.
Still a waiting game...but she is obviously more comfortable and the steroids are helping.

Hope Esme and the one on martynsues post are also improving. <3 <3 <3
