Thank you..

They are lovely clear pics, I often look at the dailymail.. but had not got around to it..

My OH was watching it on the TV and said how it looked like the painting by Canaletto and then it was there in the photos with today's one..

Great and even a video to watch as well..

I laughed at the boat with the big hat on it..

Good photos of all of them... and Beatrice and Eugenie's hats were a vast improvement..

The Brits have done themselves proud.. with a little help from the colonies...

For Sylvia - when she comes on !

I have just looked up my old itinerary for my trip to Canada.

It seems that the Coach trip started in Calgary - called in at Banff, then Lake Louise, then we stayed overnight at Lac le Jeune. Travelling on the following morning, via Whistler to Vancouver.

Does that make sense?

I seem to remember that Lake Louise was VERY beautiful !

thank you for that link!

It looked a lot more spectacular in those photos than in the hour I watched on TV ......... when the rain was pouring down!!

Do hope Prince Philip recovers quickly.

nasty things, bladder infections, as well as being very painful.

SylviaInCanada Report 4 Jun 2012 21:10

we were woken up rather unceremoniously this morning

There is great noise outside, and we'll have it for the next several days, at least.

We got a notice at the beginning of last week to say that city workers would begin sewer replacement in "approximately 3 weeks in the week of June 11".

Then ...............

Temporary No Parking signs appeared last Thursday afternoon.

Big trucks appeared early on Friday morning, dumping pipes, timbers, etc etc ............... PLUS a big machine started digging

This morning, they began work at 7:15 am ...... have scraped off all the tarmac, dumped piles of gravel, and continued digging.

OH JOY!

As we are a corner lot, we have 2 port-a-potties placed on the boulevard grass on the side street

and HUGE sewer pipes placed on the boulevard grass at the front.

:-( :-( :-(
