I wonder why you can't get them there Dea? I thought everywhere had barm cakes of one description or another. Would you like ketchup or brown sauce on your barm cake? :-D


It seems as though everyone was VERY concerned about him missing from you-know-where! He seems to be popular..... :-S :-S :-S


Hopefully, tomorrow, we will go looking at some more recliners. Haven't a clue what's happening with the grandchildren .......no doubt I will find out!

This afternoon I am having coffee with my friend from the hospital - we have known each other almost 30 years and shared the hospital desk for about 8. I miss not catching up with things on a Tuesday morning :-(

I had a nice afternoon with my friend from the hospital.......we chatted quite a lot!

Then I went off ferreting around in a friend's tree for a while. I think I lost tract of time and I nearly had to get some nice firemen to bring me down out of the branches..... :-D :-D


It's been a long day so I will say goodnight and hope that someone is around to keep an eye on Fred to keep him from wandering off again ;-)

Well, Tuesday has now become one of my very early mornings thatnks to the 'Summer' :-S Holidays so here I am getting ready for grandchildren ;-) :-)

FRED! Listen to me......do NOT, I repeat, do NOT go a-wandering agin!

Yikes! So it was the burning bacon that woke me up!

I've turned off the smoke alarm, doused the pan (not sure that it will ever be same again Cynthia, sorry), put the charred remains in the bin, opened the windows wide (hope you don't have opportunistic burglars near you), grabbed one of your crumpets and one of Dea's Danish pastries and fled the scene....

That will teach me not to sleep thru' my alarm....

Went out this morning back to the mobility show and OH has, at last, chose which recliner is best for him. We will be living on baked beans on toast for the foreseeable future :-(
