My OH

will say he has lost something, that he has looked everywhere, but cannot find it............ currently it is his clip-on sunglasses ................

If I try to join the search or ask where he last had the object ...... he says I'm overreacting :-|

I have stopped actively searching ...... but I make suggestions of where he might look.

This morning he admitted that I was often successful in finding whatever it is he's lost :-) .........

.............. but still said "don't say anymore"!!

MEN!!!!

Jonesey

Jonesey Report 14 Aug 2012 21:26

Look enough of this sexist attitude about men not knowing where things are.

I am a man and I know where everything is. It is right where I last left it unless somebody has moved it. ;-)

Good morning. Thank you Sylvs.......the Railroader sounds ideal this morning. :-D

Not sure if I am busy or not today :-S

When I think it's going to be a quiet day, it usually turns out to be hectic. Think I'll just go with it and see what happens..... ;-)

Linda

Linda Report 15 Aug 2012 10:47

The funniest "I can't find it re my OH" was when he lost his car keys.

Over an hour searching everywhere, jackets (that he hadn't had on) trousers, hooks in cupboards - other keys not the "lost" ones - drawers emptied, down side of sofas, kitchen shelves, window ledges you name it he looked there.

He didn't like it when (quoting my Mums saying) I said "you couldn't have looked everywhere otherwise you would have found them" ;-)

They were found over an hour later (yes Jonesey exactly where he had left them ;- on a hook on the door frame where he had put them so our GD didn't play with them :-D :-D :-D :-D

OH has been known to have searched all over for his car keys ......................

............. only to find he had left them in the car ignition :-D

It's been worse since we got the Subaru, which doesn't need to have the key for locking or unlocking.

Dea Report 15 Aug 2012 20:56

Worn out Cynths !!! - you do not know what 'worn out' means !!! ;-) :-( :-( :-(

Just popped in to say goodnight !

I am TOTALLY whacked !!!!!!!!!!!!

One more day to go before the weekend !! :-)

I has exciting news though - I have bought a 'baby vacuum cleaner' - I can now vacuum my carpets !!!

It is teeny weeny and I can carry it up and down stairs (with only a little panting and puffing and a half hours rest after I have used it !!) ;-)

Can't wait to try it properly !!

Dea,

I thought that you cleaned babies by giving them a bath. I never realised that you had to vacuum them as well.

You live and learn. :-D

Dea

Dea Report 15 Aug 2012 21:42

I think you are right Jonesey BUT, with my problems, this one is exciting for me :

That must have been where I went wrong Jonesey :-D :-D

Mind you, wouldn't the nappies block the filter???? ;-)

Dea, if it's a teeny weeny cleaner, do you have to vacuum your carpets on your hands and knees???? :-S :-S

Sleep tight. <3

We had some torrential rain this afternoon! It was blowing in horizontal waves across the field at the back..... :-(

Looks like summer just ain't going to appear......

Never mind.......we press on! :-D
