I have an unexpected day off today as grand-daughter is going out for the day with a friend from school - they are going on a Teddy bears Picnic via the local steam train - they each take one of their teddies and there are various fun things happening at each stop along the way !

She is really looking forward to it and I am sure she will have a wonderful time :-D

OH behaved himself beautifully this morning thank goodness. We won't get the results until next week but I can live with that.


Hope the other OH's are doing well.


Now going to take my friend and my daughter out for a ride to Dunelm Mill. I'll be glad to put my feet up tonight...... :-\

Oh dear, we have site trouble again

Threads not opening, well opening and then there is nothing there!

Member details such as joined when and how many posts they have made....not showing :-S

I have had a rather lazy , empty day !! - no grandchildren !! :-) :-( :-S

I visited the new Asda which opened locally on Monday - what a disappointment! - SO tiny !! - One step up on the local spar or costcutter in terms of variety but mot worth going to again :-(

Made a GIANT panfull of tomato soup !!! - Well worth the effort !!!........delicious !

Will have to freeze about 20 portions tomorrow (hope I can find room in the freezer !!!

Stripped the beds and washed the bedding - can't re-make them until hubby comes home coz I can't do it on my own :-( :-( :-(

Didn't manage any of the many other jobs I should have done but, hey ho! - quite a fruitfull day for me !! ;-)

Will need an early night tonight to prepare myself for grandson tomorrow !!!

It really IS nice !!!

Not as good as when I first made it with my home grown tomatoes last year but, with a little 'tweeking' and 'nurturing' it is 'almost' as good !!!

I am going to keep some out to give to my grandson tomorrow as he really loves it !

I do have to be so careful though as it does stain 'something chronic' if you slop it down your front and unfortunately, he does tend to 'slop things down his front' ;-) :-D :-D

I will put loads of bread in it for him so he doesn't drip so much :-D
