I've had 'blank' moments when remembering my PIN occasionally! Feel such a twerp. :-(

You can also go wrong if you don't press the keypad correctly too - I like the bigger keypads in M & S - just the right size for fingers... :-D :-D :-D

I guess at your age, its a miracle that you can remember what a 'PIN' is :-0

re the phone call about my OH from the Doctor. When Oh got back home last night he informed me that he hasnt taken the tablet the Doctor wanted him to stop for months as our own Doc had told him to stop it months ago cos it was upsetting his stomach :-(

Now we will have to wait till Monday till he can phone the hospital and speak to the Doctor (he had gone by the time OH got through just left message with nurse)
so back to waiting game :-(

Linds....did he not tell you he had stopped taking the tablet?

I'm about 2 miles from the Fair in the market place but I can still hear the screams !!!

LOTS of ambulances etc. rushing about !! - I will be glad when it has gone !

I have a 'pin' Ginns - It was originally used for son's 'nappy' but it has since been used for fastening together a sling for when he broke his arm on a skateboard and even more recently when I popped my button orff my trousers (till I could find the button to sew back on) ;-) :-D

another sunny day ................ about 6C outside :-D

It got down to 0C at the airport (official recording station) overnight, but only to about 3C here at the house.



I do have the patio window open to cool this room down as the sun is streaming in.

My OH never wants me to go with him to the docs, no matter what for.

He refused point blank to let me go when he went to hear the diagnosis about his colon cancer ..............


..... then came home, and said "Dr. xxxx said you would have been very welcome to come with me ............."


I think the only time I have actually been there when he has been receiving any information from any doctor, dentist, optician, etc was when he had to go back into hospital after the colon operation, and they realised they needed to do another operation ................. and that was solely because J and I were at his bedside when the surgeon came in, and OH couldn't send us away.

As a result, I have to dig to try to find out what has been said .......................


and then I get told I'm nagging :-D

Of course I knows what a pin is..........it's a pint with the 't' missing! :-D


Just back from taking daughter home - so a couple of hours and then it's bedtime!!

It'll be fine for tomorrow morning, for all the Cenotaph services and events ..........


....... but rain is due later in the day.

In Canada, every city, town and village has a Cenotaph


Services are held at ALL those Cenotaphs on Remembrance Day ......... with parades of veterans and serving servicemen and women. There is a standard service, wreath laying, etc etc.

The Remembrance Day National Remembrance is at the War Memorial in Ottawa

Gins Yes I knew he had stopped taking that tablet but didnt know which tablet Doctor was talking about until OH came home and told me it was the same one. This is when its a pain that they cant discuss anything with anyone other than the patient :(

Will now just have to wait until Monday :-|

retail therapy trip half successful, half not


couldn't find anyhting close to the cardigan that OH said he would like .............. he has one he loves that we bought about 2 years ago. Have hard work getting it off his back! It's made of cotton, but is very lightweight.


BUT



I did find 2 pairs of trousers for me ................ half price :-D
