Gins.....!! You weren't using your mobile whilst driving surely? That is SO bad
No, you eejit........sighs and recalls a driver in the states a couple of years ago
.........on the interstate, travelling at about 80mph, she overtakes me....plucking her eyebrows :-0

Well, that is bad enough Ginns but I think I can beat it ;-) :-0 :-(
Many years ago I worked as a Tour Manager taking groups of tourists over to Spain and taking them around, translating for them and generally looking after them for the week.
At first, I used to travel over with them in a British coach, with driver on the Ferry and on the Ferry we all used to have use of the 'Driver's lounge' at the top of the ship for eating, drinking, relaxing and watching TV etc. - along with all the lorry and commercial drivers.
Many of the lorry drivers had 'bedrooms' on their lorries, some of which were quite well appointed - I had many offers to go and view them and would have liked to have a look but thought it might be 'asking for trouble' to do so ;-)
I was once in conversation with a group of them - one had a video screen in his cab and was accustomed to watching 'blue movies' on it - and another had obviously been driving alongside him at some stage so he could also watch the video - It was obvious that this was a common occurrance between the group whenever they saw each other along the road.
OOOOOeerrrrr - Scarey or what ??? :-0

Scary stories indeed........You do hear some of these horror stories sometimes.
Sorry I am late - have been side tracked by another thread on summat I am interested in - don't suppose you can guess what :-D :-D :-D ;-)
The fair went very well. Good crowds and my stall doubled it's takings from last year. To cap it all, there is a prize for the most attractive stall and yes, we won it! My granddaughter was over the moon - she has been waiting for three years to win the 'trophy'! It seems that over £3,500 has been made which is excellent given the financial problems surrounding most people.
Naturally, I am now ker-knackered so it's a take-away - take daughter home and feet up night ahead of me...... :-D

It was a beautiful day today ......... sunny and quite clear over to the mountains ........... which have snow on the tops.
It was not very warm though :-)
I went downtown to buy my Christmas present from OH (leather gloves), my present to him, and have a general look.
I had 4 cards from the store I usually use, each for $25 savings if I spent more than $100
.............. I managed to pick up enough things to spend more than $100 in 3 separate departments to use those cards ...............
and still spend over $100 .....................
............ so I got a new savings card from each of them to use during the next 4 weeks
so I still have 4 $25 savings cards!
and at that, I got most items on sale!
:-D

Good morning everyone - although it's a very wet and windy morning here :-D
Thank you for breakfast Sylvs.......I have to admit to scrolling right down the page to see if creme brulee was on today's menu............yup......smacks lips. :-D
Dea, I am so sorry about your son situation and I can well understand how worried you must be. I hope you get the opportunity to have a chat and, perhaps, give him some advice.
I don't like seeing the TV adverts for the firms who offer to solve everyone's debt problems. People can be very gullible when desperate and I think they can very easily be led up the proverbial swanee :-(
Much better to talk to the 'official' debt agencies or the CAB and get things on a proper footing that way. Sending you much love <3 <3 <3
Got a busy morning this morning as we are having a Confirmation service and it will be manic.......better get a grip on meself now!!
See you later.....and Gins....don't you DARE eat all that creme brulee....or.....or....I will sulk......BIG time ;-)
