Cynthia glad your daughter will be cosy tonight :-)
Dea oh that pooe fox. I know some people think they are vermin but I think they arre lovely. We once had one that stayed in our back garden for a few days it had obviously been hit by a car and had an injured paw.
I phoned my Dad and asked him if I should call the RSPCA and he said not too cos they would put it down. We fed and watered kit for a couple of days and when the food want being eaten we knew it was fit enough to fend for itself again
O ff to do my Christmas cards
:-)

Good morning :-D
It's lovely to see such a wonderful breakfast spread on such a miserable, dark, wet morning. Thanks Sylvs.... <3
It seems as though the problem with the boiler was the fact that the gas pressure had dropped and the pilot light had gone out and affected summat. Hopefully, it will be agreed that it is too old and needs replacing.
A huge pile of ironing and a brand new audio story to listen to........bliss :-D

Mornin all~~~~~~~
After splitting with his wife about 3 years ago, brother is now in the process of selling (been delayed for so long) up and moving into a little flat
He's not been very organised with the whole thing and wont take any advice. So, he is here now, moving bags and bags of stuff here (to store) and is then moving in around the corner (Temp) with our best mate
....why cant he just move his stuff into his flat!
But there is still no completion date for the house..WHY is moving twice when its not yet completed? There is not talking to him
That said, he is very very low about the whole thing, its almost 30 years to the day that he bought the house
Dont know how to make him feel better as he wont talk about it, just says how really down he feels and didnt expect to feel like this :-(

We've had a visitor and then a phone call.......so I am here and there and everywhere :-D :-D
Sorry about your brother Gins...it almost sounds as though the split has just hit home. He is having to move out of somewhere where he has lived for so long - it's a horrible feeling - I've been there. I still dream about my last house occasionally.....daft really. Hopefully, he will adapt to his new situation soon.
Don't know where Dea is tonight though...... :-S

I wasn't around the house very much, hence why I am so late posting
I went to get my hair cut ............... my hairdresser moved at the beginning of November from where she worked in our local shopping area, to another place near the university.
That made the difference of me being able to walk there on a good day, to having to take 2 buses and about 1 hour travelling!
It also took me back to a area where I did a lot of shopping 30-odd years ago!
I found a wool shop just across the road from the hairdresser's, that I didn't know was there ................. so bought a couple of items. And will bear it in mind for future trips :-D
OH came to have his hair cut after me, and to pick me up to come back to our neighbourhood for coffee, and then home.
Now, we're both spruced up for our travel that begins Tuesday next week.

Gins
hope your brother begins to feel better once he is really out of the house.
My stupid brother didn't want anyone to know he had split up with his wife .............. his eldest daughter was also living over here, and he was most put out when one of his other daughters let S and I know!
