Nice to see you back amongst us and so chirpy. :-D

Bananas on toast Eh! They certainly treated you well. That delicacy used to be one of my favourite snacks but I prefer the bananas to be sliced rather than squashed on my toast. It is also one of Mrs J's favourites, so much so in fact that she used to use "Bananasontoast" as one of her incognito email address some years ago. :-D

Hope your lip is feeling better Ginns - It must be very sore and in such an awkward place that it will take a long time to heal properly.

Just got back from taking sis out for a long lunch. She had steak, chips,onion rings, peas, followed by a huge apple crumble! Boy she packed it away, me and Vic couldnt finish our main

Lucky, the pub is at the end of the lane where the hospice is located

I am glad she managed to enjoy her lunch and your time out together.

It is obviously a sad time for you all but there appears to be a LOT of happiness in there too - hang on to that !!! <3

P.S. - I have 'discovered' Fox's Praline Amber biscuits !!!!! - DO buy her some of them and take them in next time you visit - she will LOVE them ;-)

There are several different types of Ambers but the Praline ones are the VERY best !!!

Just cooked hubby a very nice Chinese Chicken 'thingy' - Don't ask me what it was because I couldn't find the things I wanted so just threw lots of ginger and garlic and rice wine and soy and the spices I could find together with carrots and spring onions and chicken etc and it worked out quite nicely :-D

Poor thing, it is the first 'proper meal' he has tasted in days and he REALLY enjoyed it !!
