Give grand-daughter a Happy birthday hug from me Cynths <3

Don't they grow up so quickly? I bet it only seems like yesterday to you that she was a little girl and now - SO grown up!

My 'little' grand-daughter is 8 now and already quite a 'little adult'

Jonesey

Jonesey Report 14 Apr 2013 11:39

Not having the best of days so far.

About 25 minutes ago the wind blew a tile off the front of my house which landed on my car which was parked on my drive. The windscreen is completely smashed. My car insurance will cover the replacement windscreen except for a £75 compulsory excess (Ouch) :-|

The good news is that fortunately there was no damage to the bodywork.:-D

The windscreen replacement has already been booked and the company will do the job here which saves me having to drive to their premises whilst peering through broken glass.

Dea

Dea Report 14 Apr 2013 11:52

NOT a good day then Jonesey !!! :-(

It is a shame that it wasn't blown off your neighbour's roof and then you could have claimed it all !!!

Just you be careful though as you will be finding bits of glass in your car for weeks !!!

Cynths - I have just ventured to the dark side for a '30 second visit' to see the picture of your grand-daughter - she is SO beautiful !!! and her boyfriend is a bit of a 'looker' too !

Dea Xxx

Gee

Gee Report 14 Apr 2013 11:59

Cripes Jonesey....glad it hit the car and not you

I hope your no claims is protected?

It is very windy here too

Dea

Dea Report 14 Apr 2013 12:36

OOOhhh - I forgot to say! - when I went to the dark side it wouldn't let me in as my account had been locked because someone in the London area(nowhere near to me) had apparently tried to access it !!!

Has anyone else had this happen to them?
