Our visitor is spending the day with the son of OH's sister ......... they've gone mountain biking, and then having a bbq.


so OH and I have a few hours to ourselves.


He leaves tomorrow, to go up north.


we should be back to normal by Tuesday :-D

Boy, it's been hot today..........I certainly didn't envy those at Wimbledon....I wonder if anyone passed out in the heat???


Haven't been in all that long - we were invited to a 70th birthday party but didn't stay all that long - meds and things....... ;-)

but it sounds rather MORE than one should have expected.

Especially the "holes becoming infected".


I speak as someone whose OH DOES have cancerous lesions on his face and tips of his ears as a result of driving in cars for close to 60 years ...........

.......... the sun streaming through the driver's window onto right side of his face (in the UK) and left side over here is what did the damage.


He makes regular visits to the dermatologist to have bits removed or treated ......... and spends a lot of time picking off dead skin, etc.


It drives me crazy at times!!


BUT .................... don't wait, get G back there!

I have an urgent referral to the physio......tendonitis :-(

Ive had it for months but cant ignore it any longer, its buddy painful. Anyhow, doc has given me some drugs to be going on with. Appointment next week

Just the same at the moment Ginns but hopefully they will give me something to help when I go to the hospital this afternoon :-)

Gosh, we are a 'poorly lot' on here aren't we? :-(

I am OK, thank you for enquiring. The high temperature at night has meant that I have had difficulty getting to sleep at night and as a consequence of that I've had difficulty staying awake during the day. As a result I haven't been on the computer as much as normal during the past few days.

Warm sunny weather is supposed to perk us all up but reading some of the posts it appears to be having the opposite effect on some of us. To those currently feeling less than 100%, just hang on a bit. Remember this is Britain where a whole week of sunshine is almost unheard of, it will probably be snowing on Wednesday when the 1st Ashes cricket test match begins. :-D

Oh Jonesey try an electric fan in the bedroom that's what I do - brilliant.

Well - I'm back folks :-) :-)

My lovely surgeon says that I have 'nasty' Internal radiation burns from the treatments I have been having so he has given me LOTS of strong drugs which might take a while to work but we should get things under control.
