Went for some aromatherapy today and had my feet reflexologised!!!! Quite interesting and relaxing but not as restful as a head massage. Due to Tuesday's events, I had to forego that pleasure!!!!! ;-)


Apart from that, I am staying well out of the sun.......waaaay to hot for little ole' me ;-)

I am home from the BBQ managed to eat but had to cut it into pieces.

OH has taken photo of my injuries cos son said to put in a claim as kerb was all broken _NO it wasn't me that broke it!!!

My lip isn't too bad but my left knee is very sore think I will feel it tomorrow!

Have got some painkillers which I will take when I am in bed so hopefully will get a sleep :-(

It was my D-I-L's Mum we were at so GD's were there. O came running up to me and asked what was wrong with my mouth. I told her silly gran had fell.

She jumped up on my knee gave me a cuddle and a kiss and said it was a magic kiss to make my mouth all better :-D :-D

Oh my days.....what a buddy day!

Was teaching at one college and got a call to ask if I could attend a meeting at another college, they wanted my expertise, apparently, so finished early and left.

When I got there and listened to the input, I could see why they called on me! Why do some lecturers want it handed on a plate. There seems to be a lack of 'initiative and flexibility' being used in the classroom.

Anyway, said my bit and left. It's nice to be wanted

Yes Dea you are correct sorer and bruised today but the painkillers worked and I did manage to get a sleep last night. (OH gave up and moved next door cos he kept moving about just as I was getting comfy)

thank you all for your hugs at least it got me out of doing the food shop OH went and is now cooking dinner and he bought me a small box of chocolates.

forgot to say that yesterday when I fell he went and got me an ice lolly to help stop the bleeding/swelling :-D

the amrks on the carpet look like "drips", as though something was spilled ......... but I cannot think what. There are 20 or 30 in a small area in one place, and about 10 or so in a a "crescent-moon shape in the hallway.

Both areas are concentrated ........... so not drips from a glass as you walked along.
