Hi Rachel I get hiccups just about every time I come on here then have to go back and delete them :-(

I always say I am going to try selling stuff on Ebay then end up putting it into charity shop cos I want it cleared out :-)

Gins hope you get sorted out soon just keep on raising a glass to dull the pain ;-)

Hope everyone is well. My nephew has gone to the UK for two years :( to work as a chef etc funny that it is so warm there (usually our summer weather)!

So far he is loving the food markets and the general markets and has made friends with a group of Irish girls so it sounds like he is having fun, here I was worried he would be lonely and find it difficult to find his feet :)

No IT hiccups yet..the site is inconsistent sometimes!

Gracie, where is your nephew staying in the UK? He'll be OK with a bunch of wee Irish lasses looking after him ;-)

Hi Gins,

All I know is that he is at a hostel for the moment, then he is having a quickie tour of Europe for 4 weeks, then when he gets back he has to find a place to stay and somewhere to work.

I hope he gets a job okay, he is a really good chef, his employer here has said they will hold his job for him as they see it as a benefit to get more experience.

LOL he has a habit of making friends (especially the female ones!) hopefully they or he won't lead the other astray!

I have only had one quick visit to London about 10 years ago, can anyone reccomend a good area to stay in for him (one that's not too rough at night etc)?

Living up norf, I cant help you with that one!

The sovern softies will be able to help ;-)

have another doctor's appointment on Monday ....... they're not happy with my bp, so I'm on a 14 day trial with another drug, and they have to keep a check on me.

You lot have been quiet on here today, all out at the pub no doubt!

Not out at the Pub Ginns - had the grandchildren over all day - In the swimmy pool !!

Hot and fractious !!! - covered in bites from their holidays and itching lots !!!

Took them home and picked up some calamine lotion on the way !!

Have them back on Friday !!!
