Genes Reunited Hi Ladies,

Thank you for all of your feedback. From the recent survey we sent out, one of the biggest factors highlighted was the lack of recognition given to members who spend a lot of time helping other members. Here at Genes we know that... the site would not be the same without the people helping, and so the help clinic came about. It is a way to officially recognise those members who put a lot of time and effort into helping other members. We did have to set some criteria in place but anyone can apply to be a Advisor. This is just the first step of many that we are taking to show our recognition and appreciation of our volunteer helpers.

Jax Thanks for your comments Ladies, but there are others that deserve this more than me. If this is what Genes thinks of recognition and appreciation I am just dumb founded !!!!

Tell them that the only recognition that GR members who are "helpers"on the boards want is a BIG heading on here and their Adverts saying that we ,plain old members just like everyone else ,are the ones who do the researching on here..Not PAID researchers.
And also that ALL of us spend a lot of time helping and have been for far longer than some on Clinic and so why do we not get "Recognition"the same as them?
And if it is the first step of many please dont bother with anymore as all its doing at the moment is making things here WORSE !

This problem is'nt about me....It's all of us on here plus others who we dont see on this thread, who are not being recognised unless they meet the criteria and want to apply for this stupid position.

Two of the things I did'nt meet so I would'nt have stood a chance anyway, even if I had wanted it
