T could I please ask for one more on this? I looked on Ancestry (which I have just not reupped after 10 years 'cos I didn't think I needed it any more...) and there is a Sarah Kippin with a father John mentioned in the England and Wales Christening Records 1530-1906. Do you have access to that and if so could you look for me to see the year and place? Thanks very much. Brit

Hello. I am searching for John E Wheeler, born Ealing 1884, who emigrated to Canada sometime after WW1. I wonder if you have access to passenger lists?

Regards
Jill

Eames

Eames Report 17 Oct 2009 11:46

Jill..

Should John be with anyone? Was he married by then and did he stay there long or just visiting?

Jill

Jill Report 17 Oct 2009 14:28

Re John Wheeler: I can't pick a marriage for him as there are so many! So don't know if he married before he left for Canada. I think he settled in Vancouver, but I have a picture of him still in England in August 1919. Hoping that the canada census might pick him up.

Regards
Jill

Hi T

Since we had success last time would it be possible for you to find out what happened to Adrienne Handford between 1920 and 1930? Did she marry or die?

Thanks
Sam

Eames Report 24 Oct 2009 10:54

Samantha..

Cant spot her anywhere.. This what Ancestry has for California

California Birth Index, 1905-1995
California Death Index, 1940-1997
California Divorce Index, 1966-1984
California Marriage Index, 1960-1985
California Marriages, 1850-1877

So she may have died before 1940 or married before 1960. Sorry, but did find this..

California Death Index, 1940-1997

Name: Muriel Ann Puccetti
Social Security #: 0
Sex: FEMALE
Birth Date: 8 Jan 1905
Birthplace: California
Death Date: 23 May 1952
Death Place: Alameda
Mother's Maiden Name: Healy
Father's Surname: Hanford

Sorry,

T

Samantha

Samantha Report 24 Oct 2009 23:44

Thanks T. At least I can try and research Muriel's line. Would you be able to seach Kathryn and Mary's death? It will show the same surname information as Muriel (not the married name obviously).

Would you also be able to search the marriages of Joan and Mollie Hicthen. There is a chance this was before 1960 but they both had children. Joan married a Garrard and Mollie married either an Anderson or Fletcher.

Thanks
Sam
