Jane, You are a star. Arab would be right. Short for Arabella !!! And with the last child being born in 1853, the Mother Mary Ann or Ann would of died after that and before 1861 It's all piecing together Thank you so much Back soon X

Oh hold on !!!! Someone has given me a lead and said that in 1871, they heard that a John Terrell was living in Frome Street, Quinton, Dorset as an Ag Labourer with wife Mary Ann Terrell. He is down as born in Charminster which is right next to Dorchester which is his birth place in the 1861 census Apparantley there is an 1870 marriage for a John Terrell and a Mary Ann Bushrod in Dorcester, Dorset Can you find this 1871 Census for me with the above details? I already have the 1881 census (from Ancestry) for this couple and he is born 1824 Charminster, Dorset and she is a couple of years younger. Can I then ask you to do a search for 1891 for this couple? I have done a search for 1901 and theya re definitely not in Dorset but she appears to be a widow living in Bristol, Gloucs And then Jane, Using the 1871 Census info you confirm, Can you check the 1861 Census to see if a similar John Terrell exists? Remember, my John Terrell is in Wales so if this guy is my guy, i am expecting nothing to be found but if you do find something then we can rule this guy out. My feeling is John Terrell didn't die before the 1871 census where Emma Tyrrell is down as a Widow, I think he went off with someone else and got married in 1870. This maybe why Emma Mary Young didn't put anyone as her father in her 31st Dec 1866 marriage, maybe she didn't think Joel Young or John terrell deserved a mention as they had treated her Mum so badly ??? Hi Jane, I will be most grateful if you could look up in the 1871 census Joseph Boozer b ca 1853 East Farleigh, Kent I am not sure who he is with, possibly Joseph Fairhall b ca 1813 Queenborough, Kent Esther Fairhall b ca 1814 Teston, Kent. He is Esther's nephew and he was with them in the 1861. In the 1881 he is a Joseph Fairhall, Joseph & Esther had no children of their own so likely they adopted him. Thank you so very much Liz x

Perry 1851 Thanks for trying - not sure about the family which you found, there are some similarities, although I would have expected them to be living in Toxteth Park as that is where Ann was born in 1848 and they were still living there in 1861, I think that the family must have been missed or mis-transcribed as I haven't been able to find them up until now.
