If Dorothy was born 7/11/1918 she was 10 in 1928, 20 in November 1938 and 30 in November 1948 .... which means in Jan 1948 Dorothy was still 29. Has your family stayed in Luton all this while ? Dancer x

guys, what have we got on rose simkins exactly.......we think she is bert's wife.......how do the others in that list connect to her....sorry, but it's a lot to take in, and i only started yesterday :-)

Hang on there Adam, Chris hasn't found a Wicks/simpkins Marriage, I was lining up potential simpkins given mothers maiden name on dorotthys birth cert.(havent posted yet except found a rose and brother leonard simpkins in luton in the same family) hang on there..

Possibly Bertie got married AFTER daughter Dorothy was born ... it has been known. I'll check March & June 1919 for a poss marriage. No I won't cos Chris has already checked 1919. Any chance Rose MAY have married BEFORE Bertie ? There WAS time before 1918. Dancer x

guys, we think rose was dot's mum and married to bertie. 'rose', who we think is the mother (the one we're looking for primarily) had sister minnie and brother len....that help?

that IS her death....so how do we confirm her mother? do i need the birth certificate?

If this is DEF her death cert, it says she was born 1918 !! and yes, she MUST have married again after Bertie ..!
