Hi Ian Please could you look for Caroline Mary Heasley, born Leamington, Warwickshire. On 1861 she was married to George Sherriff (Sheriff or Sherriffs) and living in the London area, aged 29, so would be about 19 in 1851. Thanks david

Hi Nicola, Thanks for the offer. Could you please lookup on 1851 Warwickshire, Birmingham: George Slynn b1814 Birmingham Sarah wife b Edgbaston? Francis George (or just George) son b1837 Birmingham Thomas b1839 Birmingham. I have found an address on a marriage cert for 1841: Bow Street, Birmingham. The church was St Martin's if that any help? Slynn has sometimes been entered as Slinn, Slim, Slym, Slyme, Shun!! If you find any Slynn families in Birmingham, I would be grateful for the info! Thanks, Gillian

Hi Nicola, Thanks for the lookup. I know my Slynns are hard work!!! It looks like you have found two families. Could you let me have the details of both? I have found Augustus Slynn on 1861 transcribed as FLYNN!! Could you try FLYNN in the 1851 census? I've just had a thought, is Edgbaston seperate to Birmingham? If so could you see if there are any Synns there? Thanks a lot for your time, Gillian
