Russell Report 20 Aug 2004 09:52

Hello Linda, Thankyou for your kind offer. I am looking for a Ralph Nicholson who is living in Colliery Row, Houghton le Spring in 1871. I know the piece number is 4980. I do not know his age but he was the informant at the death of my ggg grandmother Isabella Nicholson later that year. Isabella is living with her husband John on the census but they both died later in 1871. Hopefully if you can find him for us, we can work out the family relationship and hopefully progress further on that line. Thankyou once again Russell

Linda Report 21 Aug 2004 09:30

Maureen, I will look out for him in my "travels" around the census pages, but Durham City was a big place even then. Linda
