Hi Lynda, Thank you for looking up Kent Road for me. I found that information by going on Google and being directed to a site that had somebody from Australia asking the same question as me. She had e-mailed in 1999 asking if anybody knew where 5 Fishers Bldgs were. As my query was for No.6 it seems her g.grandparents lived next door. What a coincidence!! Anyhow, I,ll plod on and see what comes up next. Thanks again, Jean.

Hi Linda, Looking for Joseph Daniel Richards, born c 1858 in Poplar. I have no other details than that as I have been unable to pinpoint his exact birth. Name is correct as taken from his son's wedding cert, and I believe I found him on 1901 census. Any help much appreciated. Pauline

Hi Lynda, please can you look for this for me. The Phoenix (public house) in either North Street or India Row or East India Dock Road in Poplar. Believe it was at the junction of 2 of these streets, so has been recorded differently at various times. Typical! Family name is BELL. Thanks for your time. Cheers. Maz. XX

Thanks Lynda. It shows on 1851 census as India Row, but on a birth cert in 1851 as North Street. Hence my confusion. Grrrrrrrr!! Maz. XX

Hi, Re Joseph Daniel Richards, I have no birth certs yet as I have been unable to tie down the exact one, as there are 2 possible candidates. Think I will have to do some more research yet. Thanks for your time. Pauline

Hi Lynda, Could I ask you to do a look up for me on the 1871 london census. The address is 35 Winchester Street, Pimlico. (St Geo Hanover Square). I'd be interested to know who was living there at that time. Thanks for any help you can give me. I'm looking for relatives who spent several years in Malta and I'm trying to find where they settled when they returned to England. I know the daughter Ann Ellen Weir was living there prior to her marriage in 1870 to my g grandpa Jesse Jones, who was also living there. Thanks again. Di.
