Morning all
Quite a treasure hunt before you go then Daff, hope you found it all!!! And hope you have/had a good day. Sun is shining here today so far!!

May be quiet at Cribbs today as Gloucester Quays is opening. Have you seen the adverts Jude? It is near Gloucester Docks and is a desgner outlet centre with an outlet M&S. Promises to be really crowded today but should settle down, £1 to park for one hour, £3 for up to 4 I think. By the time we get back it should be more civilized. Oh yes you could go on the huge wheel in the docks too!!!

Evening all... well, what a brilliant day, lol... lots of coffee stops, but younger niece didn't come with us after all... Ann you were right, it was very quiet, which suited me better. I have bought a couple of pairs of trousers, half a dozen tops, a nice coral coloured cardi thingy, some jewellery... which wasn't put into my bag but M & S are sending it on to me... and some trousers and shirts for R.

Came home, and cooked lamb steaks with boiled potatoes and mixed veg... scrummy!!

Tomorrow I shall do very little.... I am going to have a thoroughly lazy day!!

My BP was fine this morning, right down from last time, so I don't need to go back onto the tablets for a while. Yeh!!

Jean, I do hope J's pre-op went ok today... I thought of you both often.

Lol Jude... I have just tonight remembered washing that has been sitting in my machine for two days..... it won't get dry in there, now, will it? I shall have to put it through another wash tomorrow... it smells funny otherwise, doesn't it? Yuk!!

Ann, that sounds brilliant... maybe a visit when I am ok to drive over?? I'll hold your coat while you go on the big wheel, lolol

Well, off to bed, need some beauty sleep!!

Night all,

Love

Daff xxxxx

Purple **^*Sparkly*^** Diamond Report 22 May 2009 01:30

Wow, what a spending spree Daff, I know you had quite a clear out, you sound determined to fill up all the space lol Glad you took things gently too and that the BP was ok, keep going slowly and steadily, will pay dividends in the end.

I hate it if I find damp washing anywhere, o.h. is dreadful for forgetting to take it out and hang it up, or he will pull it out into laundry basket and leave it all scrumple up whereas I prefer to hang things up immediately or sooner! Makes life so much easier, no ironing then lol I hate that 'dirty dishcloth' smell if clothes are left too long damp, not that my dishcloth smells like that cos I don't use one, I use a sponge etc but having looked after student houses, have had some stinkers to deal with after they have left the houses lol

Take care, and please stop describing yummy grub, makes me hungry lol

Morning Daff:-) Sounds like you had a lovely day yesterday, so glad you enjoyed the shopping spree! I have a pathological dislike of shopping for clothes and will only do so when I really HAVE to get something! Like I shall have to get something new for my son's wedding this year I suppose.....have my eye on this beautiful jacket with butterflies all over it and as I think it may be a sort of Pagan affair, I shall probably fit in ok...lol...

Beautiful day here, blue skies and the sun is beaming already. Hope the sun is shining for everyopne else:-) BCXXX

MrDaff Report 22 May 2009 09:46

Morning all, I am shattered today, lol.... my legs feel as though I have run the marathon!! So total rest for me.. R has ordered it!!

BC, my son will have a Pagan marriage, I think, when they get around to it... suits his beliefs very well. When my granddaughter was Christened, she had a Godparent from just about all the major faiths, lol..... the vicar was perfectly happy with it... and all Godparents visit her regularly, even though they don't live close any more... son wanted her to grow up loving someone from all religious backgrounds. But he is more of a Pagan than anything else. The butterfly jacket sounds beautiful...

Liz, I needed some *best* stuff, as I have gone down a couple of sizes... stuff for every day I have, there was enough there from when I started to go up in weight. And R is desperate for new trousers for work... Jethro has scagged his others something wicked, when Jethro wants food, that's what he does, stretches out and pads... with all claws catching the cloth and scagging lol.... not to me so much.

Jean, good luck for today xxxxx

Afternoon Daffers and all!

Dont come too close! I have the dreaded lurgy! Can you see that beacon in the distance? well, that's my nose that is!

Red, flaky and running! norra pretty sight and preventing me from doing all sorts of housewifely tasks (lol lol lol) How can you iron a shirt when your nose is the spray attachment???

Sounds like you had a lovely day with your family members Daffers: you cannot beat a bit of retail therapy to lift the spirit - I might try some tomorrow if the stream that is my nose can be stemmed long enough to cruise Per Una!

If I'm bed bound for the holiday weekend and dont get on here again, well I hope everyone has a lovely time and that the sun shines continually, as I'm sure it will, on all you righteous out there!

Bi for now
