*sulks* I am still not doing the fally over juices, lol!! Aren't you the lucky people...... I am so not jealous, lol

And.... I can't sleep, so have got up to play on here for half an hour!!

I am shattered though, as neighbours have been drilling and sawing on and off all day... they are soo brilliant normally, that I stopped myself from screaming out the window like a fishwife, lol But you know when you get to that over-tired stage?

lovely day up here - just been to the bin, and it looks like me might have an occasion to take off our overcoats!

my nose had stopped running, so the tap on the head from OH obviously worked - glad it did, otherwise the next step was to have my washer replaced! painful!

I hope everyone has a great Bank Hol.Weekend - not working too hard and taking some time to enjoy what I hope will be lovely weather for all of us - time to smell the flowers!

Morning Daff and all:-) I have just woken up as had late night with my pal, we polished off some curry and a few bottles of wine and I feel a bit fragile round the edges! lol But the sun is blazing out there so I have lots of plant buying etc to do. *pulls self together.

hi again i need a stiff drink son and girlfriend have agreed to come and help with the garden ,it is going to cost food drinks mess etc but they are stroger than me i am praying it stays dry now lol

Afternoon all.... well, it is still morning for me, as I slept until almost lunch time!! lol!

My head is clear, BC... are you still a bit frayed around the edges? lol I want to go and do some shopping..... I have run out of soap powder, so must replace that... and might have a glass or two over the weekend so need to get some vino... a scientific experiment, you understand, not for pleasure at all... I will get R to monitor how much it takes for me to fall over, and then tomorrow I shall have one glass less than that, lolol ;¬))

Maz, sit back with your favourite drink, and watch them work!! It'll stay dry, I'm sure.... I've ordered it specially!

Taff, that was soooo intriguing, wasn't it? And the view down to the sea must be magical.... I have about a thousand romantic scenarios playing around in my head..... maybe we could write a GR book based on it, lol!!

*Strangeways*..... that really is an odd name for a house..... mmm, nowt so queer as folk, as they say!

Hiya Jude... I have a very dodgy neighbour on the other side.... but they are quiet, they don't make much noise. The two lads next door are usually at work all day... and they use the garden a lot at weekends with friends around etc... but they always go indoors fairly early so people aren't affected by noise... but they were both home yesterday, and one of them had his parents around to do some work in the back garden..... they were having a whale of a time, but it was through the day, so I can't complain. Had I asked, they would have stopped, I'm sure... they gave me the most beautiful bouquet when they found out I'd been poorly, so are very considerate.

The Hunky Landscaper didn't arrive... he had probs finishing his last job cos of the weather.... but he will be with us on Tuesday, so I am all excited, lol!!

Well.... let's go and see what is happening on GR, then have a shower, then go and do a little bit of shopping... we have a Morrison's just a couple of miles away, so we will go and see if they have any taters there, lol... there is a famine in our local A***!

Hi all so pleased to see you are ok Daff hope the weather is still lovely for you i am off to Cardiff later to see John Barrowman in concert went last year and he was very entertaining. Next sat my hubby and i are renewing our wedding vows and having new wedding rings blessed(i am having a proper wedding dress this time as when we got married it was a cheap affair as we bought a house instead of spending out on a wedding) it will also be our 17th Wedding Anniversary as hubby says you dont get that for life lol.

Hiya Star.... that is soooo romantic!! Are you having a honeymoon as well? We re-took our vows on our 28th wedding anniversary, in 2000... just 6 of us there, and it was such a beautiful day... not weatherwise, couldn't have been worse, in fact, weatherwise, but everything else was just perfect. Have a wonderful day. Oh and I hope the concert was good tonight, as well.

I spent a few hours gardening, well tidying up my tubs and such so o.h. wouldn't be too grumpy, as I want to keep him in a good mood lol might even get your plants sorted Daff but mustn't do them until I can go straight to post office with them.

Hope everyone enjoys the rest of the Bank hols, even tho rain forecast here on Monday, today should be ok.

Not getting rid of o.h to his son's for Father's day weekend now :>((( - his son is off abroad somewhere to work for a month, he did mention a few weeks ago that he might have to go to Angola which he wasn't looking forward to so not sure if it's there. O.h. is meeting him this evening for half an hour as his son is coming to stay with his mum as the airport is nearby, otherwise he would have to travel 50 miles to get here first thing Monday. He didn't realise he would have to travel as much with this new job, project managing to do with offshore work, so isn't very happy.

That is brilliant Maz... I still have loads of stuff belonging to my two... but will they collect it? Will they heck as like, lol I also have piles of stuff from my uncle, but my dad won't let me sort it, and he won't do it himself... so that is a job for the summer... clear out the garage!!

Hiya Liz..... we are weeding today... and we still have a couple of plants which need to be saved before Tuesday, so will dig them up and transfer them to the back for a week or so.

Well, the weather here is beautiful... R is missing it as he is still flat out, lol... but I have potatoes on for potato salad, hard boiled eggs are ready, and I am about to chop up the beetroot and tomatoes, spare ribs are marinading, too...... we will have the roast dinner tomorrow, when it is supposed to be cooler.

Well, must go and do a little bit more... tea break over, lol!!

Morning Daff, you've just given me an idea for dinner...... Potato salad and something with it!!(brain not in gear yet!!) No wonder As** is out of spuds, I done my weekly online shop, and got 4 large bags of spuds! So I've been cooking as many as possible, before they all go to seed! And even spuds wont grow in my garden!!(Gods honest truth!!)
Well, lets hope the weathers like this for the meet, its beautifull here,!
