Morning Mummo

You are doing so well, it will hurt seeing Eddie in ICU, he's your OH and you love him ... at times like this we all feel helpless, just want to put our arms around our loved ones, hug them and keep them safe.

Sending through positive thoughts, always in my thought and prayers.

Leaving you such a hug too my dear friend ((((((((((((((huge hug))))))))))))))))
wishing I could do that for real.

My love to you, Eddie and your family

McAnne's Gahan-Crazy Report 2 Dec 2009 12:29

Hello Mummo

so glad to hear there is some improvement in Ed's general mood - that's always a good sign.............

much as you want him home, just remember, if he came home too soon he'd only be tempted to do stuff and possibly put back his recovery - so he's in the best place - sleep and TLC are the best medicine, of which I am sure he is getting plenty.

How sweet to read of him stroking your face awwww that was lovely :O) xx

Sorry but l just feel like going to bed and hibernate till Eddie is better.
Went up the hospital this morning and they thought the doctor had phone me as Ed became worse in the night, he's heartbeat was sky high and they couldn't reduce it and his lungs are really bad so they have put him in a coma and he is now on a ventilator, the doctor was really rushed off her feet so lam going back up the hospital later with my daughter to see the doctor and hopefully get some more answers.
Wish l could stop the tears, God l need to Screammmmmmmm, trying to be strong for my son & daughter too, but l know they are here for me.
Just needed to get this off my chest, so sorry you all have to listen to me rant on as can't do it in front of my kids. xxxxx

LindainHerriotCountry Report 2 Dec 2009 14:02

I am so sorry to hear this latest news. At least you know that he will not be in any distress until they can stabilise him.

I am sure that your son and daughter will feel like crying too,so don't try and hold your tears back just because you think you should. Once you get to the hospital, I am sure that the staff will have time to explain every thing to you.

MR_MAGOO Report 2 Dec 2009 14:09

I've only just read this thread as I don't come on GR very often now but my heart goes out to you, Mummo.
Nearly in tears after reading your update but if love and peoples thoughts and best wishes help then I'm sure your hubby will turn the corner very soon as we're all willing him on to get better.
I hope the three of you will have better news very soon and the doctor will have more time to answer all your questions.
Remember to look after yourself as well and if screaming helps then Screammmm........but keep strong and hopefully this nightmare will be over for you soon.
We send our love, best wishes and positive thoughts to you all plus as many (((((((hugs))))))) as you want.
