I hope its been a good day for Eddie,
thinking about you all.X

Hi, well we have had a good day, Ed was feeling alot better after managing to get some sleep this morning ( sleeping tablet never worked last night, kicked in this morning, lol) , he ate a little today and they are going to try him with the brace tomorrow and if everything goes well during the night they might move him to the spinal ward tomorrow ...........just can't believe that a couple of days ago l was told he wasn't out of the woods, yet today some good news.
I have come home earlier tonight as he was still feeling tired so told me to go home, is nice to see him being a bit bossy, lol.
We were talking today and we were both saying how much we are both missing having a cuddle, l can't even give him a proper kiss as the oxygen mask and the collar get in the way but at least there is hope now and you good people on here have got me and Ed through this, thankyou, xxxx

Hello Mummo.....that is brilliant news : )) I think that Eddie will get a little better every day now . If there is talk of moving him onto a ward then that is excellent .

Once he can do with out the oxygen mask then it will all get better to talk and hug : ))
It's like you end up claiming a little piece of your body back as each piece of medical intervention is taken away ......... I know he still has a long way to go ( and he might start to feel cross / fed up with it all as he gets better )...........but I'm sure you will hold strong and help him every step of the way..........bless you both xxx

Wonderful news and i hope he continues to get better, then in no time you will be having that kiss and cuddle you miss so much, good sign when they become bossy.

Glad to hear the good news and hope Eddie continues to make good progress, altho don't be too upset if there are little setbacks sometimes, he will get there in the end and that first cuddle will be so special eh?

Can't believe your neighbour's lack of consideration, was she drunk, banging on the door at that hour for your help and presumably, spare key. You needed your sleep and also it could have been a bad shock as you might have thought the worse.
I hope she is suitably apologetic when you see her

Take care of yourself, you are lucky that there is a good pal handy to help sort out the wall, soon everything will look as good as new.
