Too right, we went round the town today for about an hour and I am shattered by it. Still coughing well and feeling tired but otherwise ok. The girls are just about back to their usual selves so that is good news.

It's good to hear they are doing ok now.

I was pleased to see my little one was much better yesterday. The eldest was complaining of not feeling well but I suspect it was a bit of jealousy!! She kept going upstairs to lay down but soon appeared when we started playing with the Wii!!

You don't want anything else LG! And I certainly don't. Up to now I seem to have escaped all the germs flying round me!!

LG. Did they score very late in the match. I actually had a look at the game for a little while. OK don't laugh. I have to work out what you lot see in such a stupid way of utilizing a football. The score was still nil all, unless of course I wasn't looking at the screen properly.

And that's it from me for the chocolates. The rest I am giving away. Oh I'll find someone at work who will eat them, I'm sure. They'll keep for another few weeks.

I've been working on the family tree. Made some of my living lot sit down in front of the computer yesterday and enter their data. They do get that glazed look in the eye when you talk about it, don't they!!!

LaGooner Report 27 Dec 2009 20:10

2 scored after half time and 3rd in extra time. My hero scored the first two LOL. My lot just leave me alone when I'm working on it . They say it bores the a**e off them LOL

Well, I've eaten a Walnut Whip and three chocolates today. It's time I started on the Maltesers!!

I need to do something to keep me awake. Sitting here doing nothing makes me sleepy!! Tv is boring, boring, boring!!! Anyone got any decent dvds!!

You've given me a guilty conscience now so I'm eating a clementine instead!

LaGooner

LaGooner Report 27 Dec 2009 20:56

It is only cos I'm jealous as I can't be bothered to get up and raid the cupboard LOL

AuntySherlock

AuntySherlock Report 27 Dec 2009 20:58

TA for that. Until I saw the score this morning I thought it was a nil all draw. And don't think I'm being converted. We are still in cricket mode here. Our football doesn't start until March so there's no eye candy running around the footy field over here.

Oh I don't know why the Australian Government has to make family history research so difficult. I need a death certificate for someone who died in 1947 in Queensland. I have to provide the reasons why OH is related to this person, three pieces of documentary evidence (one from each column) to prove his identify. The evidence has to be certified as a true copy by a justice of the peace or some other notary. Then I have to pay $34 plus postage. Sometimes it really is not worth the trouble. However in this case the source is essential. I am on the trail of a real mystery.

LaGooner

LaGooner Report 27 Dec 2009 21:00

My son's girlfriend bought me a fridge magnet that covers that one LOL. It says I have not met a calorie yet I do not like LOL

I've tried several times to search the NSW records but failed miserably. I don't know what I do wrong, but I find it a really difficult site to use.

YG
