Same as my Hailey then although since she moved out we get on like a house on fire. As you probably remember me telling you I had 18 years of constant hell from her.

LaGooner Report 29 Dec 2009 15:52

I was going to make my fascinator but ended up finding a beauty on ebay which matched in with colour theme beautifully.

coo eee! Home again! Didn't need the shovel, but could have done with a dingy - lol Spent lots of money, but it was a big purchase we had budgeted for. At least our book keeping is an 'in column' and an 'out column' with hopefully no colourful entries on the bank statement.

Hope you enjoy the panto (oh yes she will!)

Eldest had the same problem with posh shoes as you have - she bought a new pair of trainers and wore those under her wedding dress once she got the reception. Think Problem Child did the same with her bridesmaid outfit.

Hello all, At work. Sun brightly shining outside my window. Warm to hot breezes. Temperature today 39 ish.

Off chocolate, not going near my scales for a week.

+++DetEcTive+++ Report 29 Dec 2009 23:34

Realise that some things *have* to be done,, but what a shame you are having to use part of your summer holiday to do it! Just as well you are off chocolate - what a horrible gooey mess it would be in the heat! Our scales are cringing in fear of being stepped on - lol!

Sorry you've got more of the white stuff Maz. At least if you get snowed in, you won't starve. A friend of Problem Daughter was going to drive from Cardiff tomorow to us, but her mum won't let her......they are already semi snowed in.

How's it affecting YG and Pauline?

Sylvia in Canada had a white Christmas. I know she won't mind me passing on the info. Wasn't too cold, she said, only minus 11 at night and minus 8 during the day.

I am shaking my head in disbelief. That is about the temperature setting for my freezer. Trying to picture myself sitting in the feezer all day, nope I would never survive in those conditions.

I have my Christmas present up and working. New computer monitor. Takes up much less space than the old one and seems to be clearer and sharper.

Strewth it's hot. Spot chucked a hissy fit because OH wouldn't take him for a walk. OH invited him outside to "see how hot it is". Stupid dog walked out the back door around in a circle under the verandah then straight back inside. I think he's got the message.

Chocolate. Gave away the last of it yesterday. Went to a thin person with my best regards.

Whoops nearly forgot. Maz. Shoes. If you buy a light colour (not black) you should be able to find a shoe dye which will match your dress or go very close. The dye is quite easy to apply or you might find a bootmaker who will do the job for you.

Hi Rita, Lovely to see you visiting Nut Lodge. Have you learned to duck out of the way of LGs broomstick yet. Hang on a minute I need to whinge.

Could only find one or two email addresses, and I'm not talking to them any more because they haven't replied to my lovely new email address.
