Jane, write this down...

to copy and paste from a word document (your writing) into an email..

1. open an email ready to send.

2. open the piece you want to send.

3. drag your cursor, the little arrow, over all of the writing you want to copy, so there is a big blue line through it all. (Highlighted)

4. right click on your mouse to open a menu, and click on copy.

5. go to your email and click where you want the writing to go

6. right click your mouse for the menu and select paste. click on it and VOILA!

BC, I'm happy with doing it via email especially as we are all pasting our work directly into an email now. But if others prefer to use google, then that's fine by me. I think the risks of copying into the email itself are minimal though. We're only passing it among friends, and it was said earlier, we have to trust one another, and assume that nobody will pass our work on, or pass anything nasty to us. It just won't happen. We all have anti virus on our PC's, or we shouldn't be using them. :-)

But I'll be more than happy to go with the majority, makes no difference to me as long as the group keeps going, because I'm having such fun now.

I am happy with doing it as we are doing but like TW I will go with the majority. And I am having fun too, except my brain wont stop thinking up things to write about.

Brilliant Ann, it was only two days ago that you said you couldn't think of any ideas, now you've got them coming out of your ears. Why? Because you've got your writing brain into gear by exercising it. How? By writing.

simples.

And it was brilliant BC...... and sad, you are not intending it to be used just yet are you I hope???

Teresa, it is very strange isn't it. I have always enjoyed writing and I suppose it is having somebody to write for. There didn't seem any point before. Still not sure about poetry though. I have a couple more if anybody has time to read them. (short poems)

Send them out Ann, it's all practise.

In fact, I did write one this afternoon, more of a muse than a poem, I'll send it on.

Jen ~ Report 18 Jan 2010 15:43

Yes, I've had them all thanks Ann and thought they were all very good. I was a bit spooked by the one you wrote about your first grandchild though Ann, not in a bad way I might add, but because it's so very much like a poem I wrote when our first child, my daughter was born!!! How weird is that. I will send it out so you can see what I mean.

Also, I need Helen's and the other ladies email addys please when they can get them to me.
