Hobbies and Crafts

My apologies to everybody. I started a job at the end of July and only seemed to have had the energy to work, eat and sleep until recently, although I do think I'm adjusting now as I seem to have a bit more energy. I've done very little reading of any sort because my concentration levels just seemed to dip so other than reading posts on forums, that don't require any real need for concentration has been put on hold.

I have made a start on reading again by rereading the Harry Potter series on the bus to/from work :-D and hope to start reading a bit more over the next few weeks. I hope after a short while I'll find the time to start writing again too.

I have email addys of people who I haven't had
anything from for ages, maybe should delete them
from my contacts. Last year was the last time so don't
know if they have been having a break or what.

CAT you can't go wrong by reading HP again :-) Hope all is going well in the new job. Travelling to and from work is a good place for eaves dropping too, you might get some ideas for your writing by listening to the conversations ;-) (sometimes hard to avoid when mobiles are in use lol)

Errol as and when you can, I'm sure it will be an interesting read :-)

Emma maybe have a check with Ann as to who is on the current list of writers?

i am having more hand surgery done in 2 weeks time so i may well not be posting but i will try to type with one hand if friends will forgive the punctuation errors.... :-D

Thank you Rose. Job is going fine, I'm really enjoying it, the only real downside is the low pay. Totally agree with you about eaves dropping but there don't seem to be too many conversations going on on most of the buses I'm on but then again on an early shift I start at 8am and on a late I finish at 10pm :-D

Stella, I have no problems with typos. It makes me feel better about my own :-D

Juliecat, am delighted to hear about your new job and very best wishes and hope you are happy (never mind the low pay!)...think I left you off my last thingy as well as Errol and Les. I just haven't got the knack of putting it all together! :-D

Good morning All

My enlightenment about a certain person here on GR has proved I was right not to send any more 'work' out.....and having given out my Email I'm now more wary than ever.

Also do not want any jokes etc. in my inbox, and although nothing in them nasty in any way, I just don't want to be included in lists of unknown names.

I think I am okay over here in NZ.. and am reluctant to change my e-mail address because there is a rotten apple around.

Regarding jokes, not that I have sent you one Mau.. I do all mine by BCC.... It hails back to when I was working and is quite a good habit to get into.
