I always think autumn and winter when I think of Strictly mind you the weather has been rather autumnal :-0

So far I've heard of two of them, 50%, which isn't too bad :-D I expect when I see them I will recognise a few more :-D

I am adding the names as they are revealed. Although I am not sure who all these 'stars' are.

None of those names that you've just added ring any bells with me but hopefully their faces will look familiar :-0 :-D

So I know who four of them but for the others I don’t know their names or their faces.

Londonbelle, have you not heard of Angela Rippon. She was a newsreader years ago, did a famous high kick on the Morecombe and Wise show and now does Rip off Briton.
Amanda Babbington was in amongst other things, Sherlock.
Kristen guru- Murphy does the news on 4 or Sky.
Adam Thomas used to be in Emmerdale.

Just heard another announced on Breakfast TV.
I don't know him from Eastenders, but remembered his name because of his Mum and her story.

They always have a token Eastender :-D Although I didn't realise his mum was Jade Goody :-)

Being a soap watcher I do know the Eastenders stars and also the Corrie and Emmerdale stars.
I had not realised that the very good looking and quite a good actor, who plays Freddy Slater in East Enders is jade Goody's son.

Les Dennis is the latest and final contestant. There are a lot of older people on it this year.

I think that's what makes Strictly so popular AnnG. At the beginning you have those that go racing off in front but then the rest start to learn and eventually overtake them :-D

I like Nigel Harman, I just hope he can learn to dance ;-) :-D :-D

Belle yes I like him too. Actually all the soap stars here are quite good actors (male and female).

Yes I like Nigel too. He's great in Casualty. Adam Thomas is a cheeky chappie but he says hes looking forward to leaning how to dance :-S

It has been announced that the Strictly launch show will be aired on BBC1 at 06:35 on Sat, 16 Sep...... it's getting closer :-D :-D
