Sorry Vonny, I always seem to be diverting from the weeks theme but the Lord always seems to direct us to where he wants us and today it was here for me. 2 Cor 1:3-4 [NIV} 'Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God.' Teaching about Judging others: Why quibble about the speck in someone else's eye - his little fault - when a (whole) board is in your own? How can you think of saying to him, 'Brother, let me help you get rid of that speck in your eye,' when you can't see past the board in yours? Hypocrite! Jesus heals a paralysed man. (Jesus said to the Pharisees): is it easier to say ''your sins are forgiven' or to say 'get up and walk?' I will prove to you then, that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins. So he said to the paralysed man, 'get up, pick up your bed, and go home!' The man got up and went home.
