I have found a place by the sea, where there is sand, much shelter and one can see glorious sunshine without having to climb to the tops of the trees. It would make a good home for us all, at least for a while. There are others there........dressed strangely in brightly coloured clothing who eat coloured frozen water on twigs and long fingers of meat in round bread. But I feel we will mix with them well and come to enjoy their customs.

Robin....at first hearing I could believe you had been transported to my homeland.....but the food you talk of is not of my Island, tatu, manacou, Iguana, these are the meats of my folk.. So you can't be talking about my home!!!!! *stalks of indignantly with head bowed...no home for me in this place....there's a place for me, somewhere a place for me....I'll go and ask for a cuddle in the land of gen....that should get me noticed!!!!

Allan A'Dale is not happy, and his feet are very sore. Despite his very best endeavours, he was not able to weedle from the Fair Maid of Kent the name of her dressmaker. Allan, to put it bluntly, is p***ethed off. In a fit of the sulks, he set off back to the land from whence he fled, only a few days ago (feels like years). What he found when he got there was not quite what he expected. Oh, yea, verily the peasants are still downtrodden and watching their ps and qs, but little pockets of resistance are gently simmering. The peasants, it seems, are not quite the sorry, underfed, weaklings that the evil Sheriff had thought. Allan's feet are sore because he had to go everywhere on Tip-toe for fear of being spotted and cast into the outer darkness, but he has left his mark in secret places for his friends to find. Now Allan is returning to the forest hide-away ready to make his report to Robin. He is a little worried that Robin may rebuke him for risking his life in this way - but Allan is past caring about his own skin. He wonders, casually, what has happened to the pink moose, and also realises that he has been getting his witches mixed up - an extremely risky thing to do at the best of times. Ms Merlin was not at all pleased with him before he left and he hopes that she is in a better mood today, for he fears that if she catches him she may turn him into a bald purple cat. As for Scarlett Willy, Allan is worried that he will do something very foolish. His head has been turned by this unknown maiden and the pain of unrequited love has doubtless affected Willy's ability to judge how far to push the Sheriff. Allan feels responsible since Robin gave him charge of Willy. He must remember to teach Willy how to walk on tip-toe and not to play his ghetto-blaster too loud in the land of Re Cord. Allan broods on the whispers he has heard that Robin, fearful that the evil Sheriff has got wind of their forest hideaway, is planning a trip to the coast. Yet another route march through the Sands of Time. Allan wonders if the moose would mind being saddled.

The Lost Lass sits quietly by the river bank, pondering the land mentioned by Robin. Memories of another land, another time cometh unbidden unto her thoughts. Sand? Icy poles? Hot Dogs? This is indeed a land sought by some. Perhaps the land she left far behind? She glances at her newfound companions, overcometh by a feeling of deja vu..........

Allan..................there is no rebuke.............. I admire any man, or woman, who take it upon themself to act for the benefit of all their fellows. For we merry band seek only one outcome. I am concerned that you may not vote to move from here. Perhaps you and I should talk again. My Lady Pamela, if we shall move from here, you must join us as my guest. I promise you will not be disappointed. I will escort you closely all the way.

Robin, it pleaseth me to throw my lot in with you and your merry band. You are my liege lord and I will follow wheresoever thou goest. It was just that my feet were a bit sore, however, I have dangled them in yonder stream and they feel much better now. Perchance Ms Merlin will have some soothing balm which I could rub into them. Bouncy Mistress Joy, is this Damocles aware that it is an offence to carry a weapon in a public place?

Sometime long since, Tabitha was I yclept, till cast out from the Mother Church of Tips and forced to wander in this forest. (Had this Dissolution been a few years hence, I might have got a pension out of it!) Here, as I slept a spell was cast upon me, transforming me to Moose (oh, lackaday!) But sup of Turnip Whisky hath restored my female form (praise all the blessed saints therefore!) Now Magdalene I, a thread-bare penitent, do seek my friends for succour and good cheer. (Though venison I will eschew!)
