The Border Reiver Report 30 Jun 2005 16:31

Hi Joy, We just had a terrible game of darts - we lost 7 - 4. But not to worry we're still near the top of the table and next week's another game. I hope you are getting over your depression because that is not your scene. ((((((((Hugs)))))))) Ian

Good Afternoon Joy, It was a smiley day until I got to the dentist and then I couldn't smile much with a frozen face (it looked more like a grimace). Friar

Joy is it your partner that's involved in the OPC project in Devon ? I only ask because I've tried finding an OPC site for Somerset but with no luck. Friar

Joy Report 5 Jul 2005 12:51

sorry, Friar, only just seen this [ in one of the nicest threads on the site! :-) ]. He is an OPC for some parishes in Cornwall. I'm not sure what's happening with Somerset. I'll have a cup of tea with you now, :-) Joy

Just a quickie Joy, then I must be off to bed. It's 2.30 am here. Need to be up in the morning to wake Saoirse up for her duties in the Abbey. LOL

Friar - if you look in this site (part of genuki) http://www.genuki.org.uk/big/eng/SOM/#Genealogy you will see that there are no OPCs mentioned there, but there are volunteers that do lookups, so it could be worth exploring. Also this site gives a Pigott's directory for c 1844 which looks interesting! oh oh just realised - wrong board! :-) Joy
