I don't have to keep signing back in



BUT I do get timed out when trying to navigate to pages within a thread at least 3 or 4 times during each session.


I circumvent getting the Error message by clicking Back if it takes longer than a certain number of seconds for the new page to open ........ experience over the last months has taught me that if this time is exceeded, I will get the Error message about 5 seconds later. So, I shorten my waiting time .............. while uttering silent swear words at GR.


This sort of thing very very rarely happens on other sites.


So why is it such a common event on GR?

It is getting too silly for words. In the site, asked for help, received it, then gave help to another; clicked on another board - had to sign in.

I have no problem with any other site that I visit.

I never sign out so why have I just had to sign in? I was on here earlier today and didn't have to sign in it doesn't make sense.

And again today. What is up with this site that it can't survive over a holiday without problems. I am fed up with signing in when I have not logged out.

Ditto what Ann said. And the site wanted to put "password" for my board name and a different password other than mine.

Rootschat, and other sites, have my time far more than this site that does not function properly. :-S

I'll second that.

I've only had one recurring issue over the past three months and that was the timeout message when trying to sort and order my Surname Summary. That was resolved when GR introduced their performance tweaks a week or so ago.

I am so very tired of this BUG


I have just had to log in

entered the details, hit enter

and


it took me to another page, "Please Sign In" :-S :-S


Entered details again


and finally got to Home Page



Why oh why does this happen ONLY on GR?


Why oh why does it happen SO OFTEN on GR.




It's getting to the point where I will soon be playing a game ....................


Count the reasons why I should leave this site vs the reasons why I should stay.



The balance pan is definitely leaning to the first of those choices.
