Hi Vicki

I was wondering if you could find any information relating to a John Welsh (born 1905 and died 1965)married a lady by the name of Jessie Fricker. They had 9 children both boys and girls. As a number of their children have now passed away i have come to a stand still. Any information you may find would be most helpful.

i have just found out that my great grandfather isn't my great grandfather which explains a lot in my searches i've been doing my gran was born majerie aug 1030 and i think hartley was was her mothers name any ideas were to go from here

Hi Victoria, Hope you can help me! My paternal grandmother Lillain Sarah Ann Cox, born 21/01/1886, Windsor or Henley I think.She married my grandfather, William Frederick Pheby on 14/06/1915, Register Office Windsor Berkshire; but I have found out that in September 1912 when the birth of my Aunt was registered (District, Maidenhead, Vol 2c, page 766) that although Willaim Pheby is listed as the father, the mother is listed as Lillian Sarah Ann Sadler ne Cox. We didn't know that she had been married before - is it possible for you to find out who/when and where? Also the names of her parents? I think she had two brothers: Alfred and John, and two sisters Ada and Annie.

Could you please look up Scotland's 1841 Census for a John & Isobel Badenoch - all their children born in Cullen -Ebenezer,Isobel,James,John,Alexander(my 3X Gr Grandfather) & Ann. Any info on any of them would be fantastic as I have come to a standstill.

thanks for the info have obtained john and jessies birth and death certificates but i am now stuck on jessies mother and father. I have the death certificate for jessie's mother and her name is Frances Elizabeth Fricker she died in 1965 (31st Dec) born in 1879. Cannot find anything else out about her. Jessie's fathers name is Herbert Fricker no other info.


any help would be much appreciated as the name fricker seems to be hard to track down.

On my mums side of the family I am stuck on the birth of William Burden born c:1832. I have his sons birth cert year 1856 and the family were living at 15 Little Rutland Street, Stepney London. William married Harriett Kavanagh on 23/06/1853 and he was living at Bury St and she was living at Boundary St, Bethnal Green.
Ideally I am looking for the 1841 and 1851 census for him.

Sorry I should have given you dates, John & Isobel were married 1.9.1787, Ebenezer b.1789, Isobel b.1790, James b.1792, John b.1797(could this be the John you found?) Alexander b.1799(my 3X GG) Ann b. 1805. Alexander went onto marry Agness Collie 9.4.1820 & they both died in South Australia.
