Well, a part of my life has become bland :-(

When we moved to the UK from Malta, after the converted double decker bus, we moved into a caravan. This was a 4 berth,(ha ha!!). There were 6 of us so elder brother went to Boarding school and muggins slept on the (unplumbed) bath, on a cushion, on a board, with the cat sharing my hot water bottle.
.
Anyway, this is by the by.
I always called this caravan Bessie, as I thought it was a 'Bessie car', and the name gave it some sort of character.
Well, over 50 years later, after seeing the name on a touring caravan I have realised that it was a 'Bessacar'.

It's just not the same :-(

Three Bland Mice,
Three Bland Mice,

See how they stroll!
See how they stroll!

They all stroll after the Farmer’s wife,
Who was peeling apples
With a paring knife.

Did you ever see such a thing in your life
As three Bland Mice.

As this is the "Bland" thread, i feel the need to burst into song...........

Since you've been gone
All that's left is a bland of gold
All that's left of the dream I hold
Is a bland of gold..........
