Dermot Report 9 Sep 2016 13:39

Three bland mice, three bland mice,
See how they run, see how they run,
They all ran after the farmer's wife,
Who cut off their tails with a carving knife,
Did you ever see such a thing in your life
As three bland mice?

Allan

Allan Report 9 Sep 2016 21:32

You let that cat go, AnnC; in any event it will probably chase after the three bland mice :-D

PH, that's a nice elastic bland and you use it to perfection, but, pretty please, could you stop pinging me with it?

Now THAT'S a true blandishment :-D :-D :-D :-D

Harry Report 10 Sep 2016 20:51

This will probably interest nobody. I was in Warrington library about ten years ago and an oldish fellow was asking the lady about a 'Bland' family.
I said, that there was a young man (an evacuee?) in our street during the war and his name was Bland. He said 'that was me'. That's all folks.
Happy days
