Brunch for later on>>>

Full English Breakfast: Back bacon, poached or fried eggs, fried or grilled tomatoes, fried mushrooms, fried bread or toast with butter, sausages and baked beans served with a mug of tea to help wash it down..

Now if you want the Full Monty... to the above add.. black pudding, fried left over mashed potatoes or bubble and squeak...

and perhaps fried onion rings and you can replace the bread with fried oat cakes..

Ulster Fry up.. Bacon rashers, eggs, sausages, vegetable roll, farl or boxty...

Scottish Brekkie: eggs, back bacon, link sausage, buttered toast, baked beans and tea or coffee. The to this add black pudding and tatie scones. Can add fried or grilled tomato and/or mushrooms and if you like black pudding and haggis. This is to be preceded with your Robbie Burns oatmeal porridge.

Welsh Breakfast... bacon and eggs plus laver bread (not much good for Dea .. she probably doesn't like seaweed) fried in bacon fat and a few cockles as well..

Lumberjack Breakfast: Ham and eggs plus buckwheat galettes, boudin, cretons pommes and persillade and baked beans...... bit concerned about this one.. Persil is the brand of washing powder I use in my Front Loader..

The blue plate special: this is where you eat whatever is shoved under your nose...no choosing what you have..

Vegetarian breakfasts ..
Veggie Burger: homemade brown lentil and tofu patty with salad and your choice of Bali High, plum sauce or homemade tomato sauce and optional cheese, on a bun.

Hungarian Stroganoff – black-eyed beans and mushrooms in a rich, creamy sauce.

Breakfast burrito. Wrap beans, guacamole, and leftover stir-fry veggies in a whole wheat tortilla for one commute-friendly breakfast.

Assorted breads, crumpets. muffins (carrot and walnut, Banana and lemon syrup, blueberry and white chocolate, spinach and feta) Scones.. (pumpkin, date or emmenthal cheese)

Dried fruit, nuts and cheese board.

Various spreads in cupboard above the microwave.

Wonderful! I can never resist a full English - not the full monty though..... ;-)

You've really excelled yourself this morning Persie and we're loving it <3

Dear Mr Jonesey, if I ask very, very nicely, please may I have a pm as well? It would brighten up a possibly loooooong day!

Also, may I ask for some advice? How on earth do I trace a rellie who was in WW2 but I have no idea whether it was army/navy/marines etc. He is a mysterious chap and was, apparently, one of Montgomery's bodyguards. Not a lot to go on really.

Thirteen years ago today, our grandson was born......we nearly lost him when he stopped breathing at 2 days old. We're so very blessed to have him healthy, well and full of fun. Love him to bits. <3

My grandson Evan will be 11 this month.. he was rushed in the ambulance when he was six weeks old... he had Bronchiolitis... he stopped breathing and then again a few days later he stopped again..

Was such a worry but he is full of life now..

OH and I will be taking him for a day out for his Birthday.. Last year it was a couple of weeks after he had his appendix out and here we were on a sailing Scow with him helping unfurl the sails and pull on the ropes etc.

That rings a bell Persie....I think my grandson had that a bit later on.

He's now got a 'girlfriend' so we don't get much of a look in these days..... ;-)

Going off to see him shortly.

As you all know, I have been physically unable to do much in the way of cleaning in my house for the past couple of years !! (BORING !!!)

Anyway, I managed to persuade my lovely hubby to tackle the tops of my kiichen cupboards yesterday - SO greasy, especially over the cooker !! (I am ashamed !! :-()

Over the past many years I have been saying to him - it would be a good idea to put a layer of plastic covering of some sort on there so it would make cleaning easier but nothing ever happened.

Anyway, guess what he has been doing today ?? - After a whole day of scrubbing, he decided that he didn't want to do that again so he has spent all day today cutting out plastic covering to put on the tops of the units !! ;-) :-D :-D :-D

I have one of those too Jonesey.
I found a transcript of the court case.
The strange thing is when he comes out of prison he goes back to his first wife and has more children with her.
I have not found much on the person he "married" though.
