I guess I'm fortunate with my grandchildren now they are teenagers.....certainly not as hard work as when they were younger and I was younger with them!


Hi Sylvs. Yes he's comfy in the recliner but the loo is upstairs which is a trail for him at night. We can get help with certain things but Social Services in this area don't 'do' beds. I think the idea we thought of today is going to be the best option at the moment and, we will only have to buy one bed :-D

a light breakfast as "bitings on" while I get Brunch ready :-D



Toast (sourdough, rye, white, whole grain, 100% brown, Hovis), crumpets,

jams, jellies

Tea, coffee, juices


(some bacon, turkey sausage or sausage patties, eggs, tomatoes, in the hidey place to cook up for the very hungry ones!)

it is going to be a lovely sunny day today, so Brunch will be in the conservatory with the windows and doors wide open. There are some chairs and tables out on the patio in some of you want to eat out there.

Busy here too - my hubby took me out for lunch and I am 'stuffed' !!! - No room for a BBQ ;-)

No grandchildren today and the Golf Course was closed due to flooding so I managed to get some attention for a change :-D

Evening All
Been to cinema and out for a meal.
Saw Spiderman! Different actor storyline back to begining ie how he got his "powers" didnt think much of it same old same old.

Got phone call from son who is in Italy with his band starting to miss him and he wont be home till end of month cos they have picked up extra gigs.
