I've lost 7 lbs in about 3 weeks .......

.......... just by cutting out added sugar, using sugar-free or sugar-reduced cereals, bread, etc, adding more veggies and fruits, and cutting the size of the meat portion

and walking 10 minutes 3 or 4 times a week .......... I must try to increase that to 5 times a week.

:-D :-D :-D

SylviaInCanada

SylviaInCanada Report 9 Jul 2012 19:59

there are new posters around ...........

and of course this is Summer in the Northern Hemisphere, so people are presumably on holidays etc. ......... despite the weather!

Cynthia

Cynthia Report 9 Jul 2012 20:55

I didn't say the gauge spoke to me you daft 'apporth....I said the garage chap.........sigh.......

So we's equals Sylvs :-D

I'm doing a very similar sort of thing and I am drinking more water and very rarely touch a fizzy drink now.

The pedometer I was given has been the incentive I needed re exercise as I find I am deliberately trying to exceed the previous days' score! It doesn't always work but it certainly helps.

I guess you're right about people being on holiday and folk having other things to do rather than look for long lost ancestors...... :-S

I don't have the grandchildren this week so am at a bit of a loss but I'm sure I will find something to do :-D

In fact, it's my friend's birthday on Wedneday so I am taking her out to lunch and then her local son is coming with his family for tea. I have said I will try and leave some balloons around etc ., so that the little ones think it's a 'real' party :-D

Yes Ginns - His middle name of there is down as 'Goodwin' BUT, I have a strong feeling about this chap and just wanted to see if there was anything on those passenger records which 'might' tie it together.

Belated greetings everyone....... :-D

Couldn't pop in this morning as I was answering an email from an old friend and it took some time.

It's also bedroom cleaning day.

We also went out for an hour.

Time flies when you're having fun doesn't it?

Thanks for asking about OH Dea. Yes, everything went very well and the doc seems pleased with him and the way his present meds are working. :-D :-D

Off to do some messaging before having a relaxing afternoon I hope.
